The Columbus Dispatch
At least 30 law-enforcement officers from multiple agencies across four counties responded to calls of a brawl at a motorcycle club in southeastern Madison County this afternoon, but everyone involved had left the scene before authorities arrived.
More than 100 people were at the Missing Link Motorcycle Club, a private campground on Anderson Antioch Road near the Franklin, Madison and Pickaway county line, but only about 10 were involved in the actual fight, said Lt. John Swaney of the Madison County sheriff’s office.
Swaney said deputies were told the fight apparently started about 2 p.m. when members of a rival motorcycle club showed up.
One person, whose name was not available, received minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital and released.
Swaney said some of the people at the club had guns and pocket knives but none was found to be illegal. Those with guns had the proper concealed-carry permits, he said.
He said no gunfire was reported during the fight.
Those who responded included the Fayette, Franklin, Madison and Pickaway county sheriff’s offices, the London Police Department, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and a Columbus Police helicopter.
