A ST Marys unit was searched unveiling 448 grams of amphetamines and the offender was charged yesterday.
The search in August 2010 followed a robbery on a Newtown tattoo shop on July 29.
As a result of inquiries made by Strike Force Raptor detectives, officers executed a search warrant at a unit in Glossop St, St Marys on August 11.
During the search police will allege they located and seized 448 grams of amphetamines in a plastic bag. The drugs and plastic bag were sent for forensic analysis.
As a result of the analysis police identified a 26-year-old alleged Nomads motorcycle gang vice president.
He was arrested and charged with supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear at Penrith Local Court on Friday, March 25.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Command’s gangs squad and is a proactive and high impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their alleged associated criminal enterprises.
