Motorcyclists mourn fallen club member

OFF THE WIRE

The "Devil Dolls", a popular local women's motorcycle club, has lost a member.

25-year-old Concord resident Nicci Acevedo was killed over the weekend when she lost control of her motorcycle and was hit by a car on H-4 east of Concord.

Here's a message from her fellow club members, who are asking for any help from the local motorcycle community to help pay for funeral expenses....

Nicci is extemely loved and missed by her Motorcycle club sisters, friends, family and band mates (She was the lead singer of "FTP" -...Falling to Pieces).

Loni (DDMC Zingara Member) and Ron (Beaver) DeSoto (Survivors MC Member) are in need of any financial aid to help with unexpected funeral expenses and related costs. We are asking the motorcycle community to pull together and send in a donation.

Please make checks payable to Loni DeSoto and mail to:

Loni DeSoto c/o Devil Dolls MC, PO BOX 661, Rodeo, CA 94572

We just want to try to make it a little bit easier for them during this difficult time. Thank you in advance for anything you can do.

As many of you know, we just lost our daughter, Devil Doll sister and friend in a motorcycle accident Friday night.

We have been approached by a multitude of people who wish to donate to the family in support to help with her services.

To that end, we are having a Celebration of her life and Benefit for our fallen sister Nicci. This will be a time for the community to come together to support the family and friends who loved her and fellowship or party as she would want us to.

When: Wednesday November 10th
Time:8pm
Where:Pine Street Sports Bar & Grill
875 Rincon Ave (@ Pine St.)
Livermore
Please mail donations to:
Loni DeSoto c/o Devil Dolls MC PO BOX 661, Rodeo, CA 94572. Please make checks payable to Loni DeSoto.
