OFF THE WIRE
The Bandidos bikie gxxg has moved out of its Woolloongabba clubhouse just days after its shopfront and a neighbouring restaurant were sprayed with bullets in an early morning incident. Two men today piled what remained in the clubhouse into a ute after the club ended its lease of the space.
The pair wouldn't give their names, but happily posed for a photographs for City South News on Thursday as they hauled the effects - predominantly paint drums and liquor bottles - into the back of a bronze Kingswood ute and trailer.
They now leave locals to pick up the pieces after the Stanley Street clubhouse was hit by four gunblasts in the early hours of Monday.
``You got inside to see the place, but there's not much left now,'' one said.
``I haven't heard of any plans to open up a new clubhouse anywhere,'' he added.
Neither would comment on the effect their presence had on the neighbourhood, but did indicate they believed The Hells Angels to be behind the shootings.
