The Seattle police said that two men working as doormen were shot outside a motorcycle clubhouse in the 9100 block of Martin Luther King Way S. early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the reported shooting shortly after 2:45 a.m. According to police, the two victims were working as doormen who patted down people who weren't not identified as club members before they entered the building. A man showed up with several women and wanted to enter, but refused to allow the doormen to touch his clothing.
A verbal argument began and the suspect fired shots at the doormen. Seattle Fire medics treated both victims and transported them to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both shooting victims told police they had never seen the suspect before and could provide only vague physical descriptions of him. A witness who was a club member gave a video statement to the police.
Gang unit detectives seized two guns from club members at the scene and another one was found on one of the victims. They were placed in evidence pending the investigation.
