5Th Annual Powder Puff. Mojave Off-Road Racing Enthusiast (M.O.R.E.) All Ladies Breast Cancer Race. Present by Royal Purple Sythetic Oils. We are off-road racers aiding in finding the cure of ladies breast cancer. This year's event starts at 5pm on Friday with tech and contingency being held at the old factory outlet mall in Barstow. Saturday is Race day and starts at 8AM going until 4:00PM. THere will be two 4 hour main events the public is welcome to attend as there will be a BBQ and live band following the Races. Along with raffling of a Yamaha Rhino and many other prizes with 100% of rafffle money going to the hospital. Tickets can be purchase at the event or by calling 760-646-9306. Simi Valley H.O.G. 15th Annual Back Roads Classic. All bikers (and all bike brands) are welcome! Check in from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts. Huntington's Disease Poker Run. Women in the Wind, San Diego Sol Sister Chapter is sponsoring a poker run for Huntington's Disease, a degenerative, inherited brain disorder which is currently incurable. 100% of the proceeds will go to the local area Huntington's Disease Clinical Research Center to benefit families in the San Diego area. Poker hands are $25 with registration 8-9am at UCSD Parking lot P703, 3960 Health Science Dr. We end our run at Southbay Motorsports in Chula Vista with lunch, music, and prizes. $200 for high hand plus raffle items. T-shirt and pin for the first 100 registrants.
