Nine men arrested last year in the massive roundup of Hells Angels across Quebec are seeking a release before they go to trial in Operation SharQc.
Included among the nine to appear before Superior Court Justice James Brunton Monday are Yves (Flag) Gagne, Marc-Andre Hotte and Michel (Sky) Langlois, all alleged to be full-patch members of the outlaw motorcycle gang.
Brunton has placed a publication ban on all evidence heard during what is expected to be a 2-week long bail hearing.
The nine are not the first to seek a release during the complex case which involves several first-degree murder charges as well as gangsterism, conspiracy and drug trafficking.
More than 100 people were rounded up in April 2009 in Operation SharQc and many others remain on the lam.
