TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Police arrested Phillip Mannebach early Tuesday morning at the Econolodge Motel in Terre Haute.

Mannebach is a member of the Sons of Silence motorcycle gang and a wanted man, in hiding for nearly a week.

"I mean he did have reddish brown hair, it's really really blond now so he actually dyed his hair," Terre Haute Police Detective Starla Neidigh said. "So he's being doing some things to keep himself from being found."

Now, he's facing four felonies.

Police said Mannebach abducted a man and held him captive a garage at 20th and Maple in Terre Haute.

According to court documents, Mannebach pistol-whipped the victim, demanding money, threatening to kill him.

"He is recovering, he is out of the hospital now but of course he is traumatized by this," Neidigh said.

This isn't the first time Mannebach has been in trouble with the law, he has a criminal history dating back almost 30 years.

One of the other suspects, Travis Umphries, has turned himself in to police on Tuesday evening.

Police, however, are still searching for the Dustin Coffey.

Police say that Coffey is armed and dangerous.

"I would consider them a danger to the community. This was a very violent act that was done to this victim," Neidigh said.

As for Mannebach, he's in jail on $100,000 cash bond.

If you have any information about Dustin Coffey you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at (812) 238-STOP.

He told police, for two days, different people rotated through the location to watch him.

But on Wednesday, with a broken jaw and cuts to his face and head, the man cut the zip ties and escaped.

They said at least one could be connected to the Sons of Silence motorcycle gang.

Police will not release any information about the victim to protect his safety.
