The probationary member has been refused bail after police say they seized cannabis, restricted substances and a .32 calibre semi-automatic pistol and ammunition.
Strike Force Raptor officers arrested the 40-year-old Queenslander after he left a party at the Bandidos clubhouse at Seven Hills at 11.10pm on Saturday.
Police said they found the drugs in a Suzuki Vitara and the pistol in the boot.
He was taken to St Marys police station and charged with eight offences including two counts of possessing a restricted substance and one count each of possessing a prohibited drug, having a loaded firearm in a public place, possessing an unregistered and unauthorised pistol in a public place, possessing an unauthorised pistol, possessing an unregistered firearm and possessing ammunition without holding a licence or permit.
He appeared in Blacktown Local Court on Sunday and was refused bail to re-appear at Blacktown on September 2.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009 to target outlaw motorcycle gangs.
