America, tossed under the bus.

OFF THE WIRE
(Sharing this here because I believe its important, accurate, well written and speaks well of how very far off track we have gotten in this country)
America, tossed under the bus.
by Jeff Ganaposki
The super rich are getting richer. The government bureaucrats are getting richer. The politicians are getting richer. The government is hiring more. And the very special entitled poor are getting everything for nothing.
What's wrong with that?
Everything.
It's all very simple.
The USA has been socialist since 1935, and Americans are finally aware of the transformation, or the results of that revolution.
Socialism is nothing but slavery and theft-by-government.
(compulsory labor for the benefit of another, and coercive taxation)
When a system penalizes the productive and rewards the non-productive, you destroy all hope of prosperity.
The "big joke" is that it was done by our consent, via voluntary enrollment in FICA.
Of course, since prosperity is the creation, trade and enjoyment of surplus usable goods and services, the nation suffers when fewer people are being productive. The super rich who amass wealth via usury (investments, speculation, gambling) are not productive. They don't create usable goods and services. The government bureaucrats aren't really doing anything productive - they're managing the armies of drones who often do little or nothing, and consume the wealth of the nation, building administrative monuments to socialism across America. Just enter any local FEMA office and gaze upon the expensive technology on display, the modern decor, and the architectural treatments . . . nothing is too good for "our" bureaucrats - the front line of socialist administration. And each monument gets named, in honor of some politician, who took so much from so many so the few could truly prosper.
It wasn't always this way.
At one time, government service was a step DOWN in status, and in pay; it truly was a civic sacrifice. Now, it's a step up, on the backs of the taxpayers.
At one time, government taxed less than 1% of the GDP. Now, it's 20% (while spending 25% of the GDP via deficit spending).
At one time, accepting charity from the government was abhored (pauperization was the worst status). Now, it's a goal of millions, who don't realize that they've been reduced to paupers, and excluded from the protections of the USCON.
At one time, a dollar had buying power. Today, a "dollar bill" has lost 96% of its buying power (officially). But we know it is far more than that. The equitable trade of one's labor is not possible. The socialist overhead, taxation, bureaucracy and inflation take their toll.
What's to come?
If nothing changes, we will be witnesses to the collapse of the constitutional government of these united States. It will be replaced with an all powerful national government - the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of America. . . sans that pesky charter of negative liberties (saith BHO). Of course, that would be the end of the republican form of government, as promised in Article 4, Section 4, U.S. Constitution. Few Americans are aware of the republican form, and would not even notice its passing. That will be a tragedy to be mourned for generations.
The saddest aspect is that there are solutions - some painful - but effective solutions that would reverse the economic decline and clean up the political system. But the "system" has an intrinsic self-interest bloc composed of the millions of socialist recipients (and others dependent upon them) who outvote the donors. Even the self interest bloc of the ex-military would "fight to the end" to preserve their own special entitlements, regardless of the harm to the nation as a whole. It is ironic that those who claimed to "Fight to preserve freedom" would fight to impose involuntary servitude upon the masses for their own benefit.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
