When 18-year-old Roger Violano of Bakersfield was laid to rest, there weren't any Hell's Angels in attendance but local members of that notorious motorcycle gang are starting to show up in court in connection with his death.
Charges were re-filed today against Michael Pena, a.k.a. "Delano Mike."
That's because a second defendant, also a Hell's Angels member, was charged Monday in Violano's death. He is 43-year-old Joseph Soto.
Violano, a member of the rival Vagos motorcycle club, was stabbed to death outside The Pirate Tattoo Shop back in May.
Soto is charged with being an accessory, assault with a deadly weapon, and participating in a street gang.
Pena faces similar charges, as well as one count of homicide.
