US Defenders,
As discussed at the recent SO Cal COC meeting, a protest of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show at the Calabasas Inn has been planned. Over the past few years, admittance has been denied to motorcyclists that either appear intimidating (their words) and/or chose to wear a club cut. A peaceful protest has been planned to demonstrate to the event promoters and vendors, that as motorcyclists, we find this type of action both offensive and discriminating.
All motorcyclists are encouraged to participate. The details of the event are as follows:
· Date – Sunday, July 22, 2012
· Breakfast Location – Denny’s Restaurant, 2207 Burbank Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA.
· Breakfast Time – 8:30 am
· Briefing & Safety Meeting – 9:30 am
· Depart for Staging Area – 9:45 am
Flyers articulating all the pertinent info will be distributed to all riders at the staging area. Again, you’re all invited to participate in your right to protest this oppressive abuse.
