No charges will be filed in a fight and shooting outside of a Millcreek Township tavern in late March, police said today.
No one involved in the incident wishes to pursue charges in the matter, Millcreek police Capt. Michael Tesore said. Police had said that two people would likely face weapons charges from the incident, which happened outside a tavern in the 3100 block of West Lake Road on the early morning of March 24.
Police said the fight started when two members of a local motorcycle club and a larger group of people from another motorcycle club exchanged words inside the tavern. The group then stepped outside and the two members of the one club were beaten up by members of the other club, police said.
Someone else arrived on scene during the fight and fired a gunshot into the air to break up the fight, police said. No one was injured in the shooting.
