Men with baseball bats have raided a tattoo studio and a locksmith on Brisbane's southside, bashing four people and damaging both stores.A police spokeswoman couldn't say whether bikie gxxgs were involved in the assaults, which come two days after a drive-by shooting on a Gold Coast tattoo parlour.
Police say five men armed with baseball bats entered a tattoo studio on Wynnum Road, Morningside, at about 4pm (AEST) on Thursday.
They used the bats to damage property and assault two men who were inside the business.
Less than half an hour later, police believe the same five men were responsible for assaulting two men and damaging property at an East Brisbane locksmith on Wellington Road.
Baseball bats were used once again, police say.
All four victims sustained injuries that were not considered life threatening.
On Tuesday morning, four shots were fired through the door of East Coast Ink in Mermaid Beach around 2.45am (AEST).
Police at the time said there was no evidence of a bikie turf war but did not rule it out.
