Pretty big win for us in Queensland, Australia. Newly elected ...Government and Premier (Governor ??) Campbell Newman ex Army Officer (and student on a certain course many years ago) has abandoned all Anti Association legislation in our State. In the last 48 hrs he has also stated he will not tolerate Police 'construction' of cases against groups of people; after a tattoo parlour got shot up (allegedly rival clubs - gees) he stated that just because an individual commits a crime that is no reason for the entire group to suffer; he has also stated that he will not ban the wearing of 'gang' colours under any circumstances.
Nice to have a man of honour at the helm. A huge congratulations to Mark Angel Brisbane and the United Motorcycle Council Queensland http://www.umcinc.com.au/ for five years of lobbying and behind the scenes work.
Guess we need to keep this rolling now. !
