BURWOOD: Boss of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang Felix Lyle was granted bail on an extortion charge on August 24.
The 54-year-old appeared in Burwood court via video that day when the magistrate granted him bail without a surety bond.
The charge follows investigations into an extortion attempt made on the owner of a Burwood car dealership last month.
Lyle was arrested with the help of Corrective Services about 2.30pm on Wednesday August 17 just as he was about to walk out of Long Bay jail where he had been in custody since July 22 on unrelated charges.
He was charged on August 17 with demanding money with menaces and participating in a criminal group.
