Save Lives...Support "Freedom of Choice" ABATE of California urges you to get 'letter of support' petitions signed, and volunteer for some campaign work with your local politician to support AB 695 (Author Norby) which would modify the current helmet law to allow riders the right to choosewhether to wear a helmet or not if they are over 18 and have either (1) completed a motorcycle training program or (2) been issued a class M-1 for two years or more.  We should have the right to choose....the current helmet law is  not saving lives !     You can pick up support petitions at the ABATE local 6 meeting, or on line

If it is seriously raining on the Sunday of the Local 6 regular meeting… and you are already out and about…. The meeting will be held AT 12 NOON at the Arizona Café ,   1925   Bacon St .  in Ocean Beach just this side of Newport Av.   They serve a good breakfast on weekends.
