Witnesses report gunshots shortly after the initial shooting about one block north of the Nugget, near the Century Sparks 14 movie theaters. Police mobilized near the venue, but no further incidents were reported.
The police lockdown caused some hotel guests to seek new lodging early Saturday morning.
