A man believed to be associated with a bikie gang has been charged after knives and a rifle were found in his car in western Sydney, police say.
Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, officers stopped a car leaving a clubhouse associated with the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang at Seven Hills.
During a search of the car, police allegedly found a rifle, knives and a large amount of ammunition.
The driver, a 23-year-old Quakers Hill man, was arrested and charged with a number of weapons offences.
He was also charged with driving while suspended and is due to appear before Penrith Local Court on Wednesday.
