Modesto, CA - Fund set up to help pay for 4-year-old's funeral

The support for Juliani Cardenas and his family continues.
Juliani's body is believed to have been pulled from the Delta-Mendota Canal on Tuesday near Santa Nella. The 4-year-old was abducted Jan. 18 from his home in Patterson; the suspect is Jose Esteban Rodriguez, his mother's former boyfriend.
A fund to help defray the cost of his funeral has been established at Bank of the West. Checks should be made out to Bank of the West in care of the Juliani Cardenas fund.
The family said Wednesday that they are working out details of a service.
Donations also are being accepted at Modesto Junior College's Student Development and Campus Life Office.
The Hooligans Motorcycle Club will hold a memorial ride Saturday to raise money for the fund.

Also Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at Modesto's Vintage Faire Mall will donate 20 percent of all food sales to Juliani's Charity Fund for funeral expenses.
On Monday, Lamppost Pizza in Patterson will donate 40 percent of its proceeds to the fund for all dine-in and take-out services. The restaurant is behind Denny's on Renzo Lane.
