First, the 5th Annual Brian’s Ride will be held on Sunday July 31, 2011 at The Jockey Club.

Hello all,
We hope that you have had a great start to the new year and everyone has been safe and healthy. Just an update of what is happening.
First, the 5th Annual Brian’s Ride will be held on Sunday July 31, 2011 at The Jockey Club. We are working to make this years the Best. We need people’s inputs, advise and suggestions to continue to draw in the bikes, people and donations. Remember, these donations are for you, your friends or family should they ever need it. Help us Help You.
Second, we are hosting a Flapjack Breakfast on Sunday March 27, 2011 and it will be held at Applebee’s located at 800 Cape Highway, Route 44 Raynham, MA from 8-10am. We are limited to only 300 tickets and they cannot be sold at the door. The tickets are for a donation of only $5 which gives you 3 Flapjacks, coffee and juices. We know that the riding season would probably have already started and what better way to start a ride than to come and have a good breakfast for cheap money. You can sit and chat, discuss rides or just make up for lost time. The BOD will be there waiting on you hand and foot. This is a first for the SEMMSF and again, all monies go into the fund to help that families of fallen and or downed riders…no matter what you ride, no matter what group, club or affiliation you belong to or represent. If you are not able to attend, please consider still donating the $5 for the fund.
Third, we are selling raffle tickets for a brand new 64GB iPad with Wi-Fi. The tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5. This iPad has a value of over $600. The winning ticket will be drawn at the 5th Annual Brian’s Ride and the winner need not be present to win.
Again, we need your input on what you wanted to see last year and didn’t…what you wanted to hear last year and you didn’t. The monthly meetings have already started and they are on the 4th Tuesday of every month at The Jockey Club starting at 7pm for the open meetings. We are also looking for representatives from different groups, clubs and affiliations to show up to gather information and pass on down the line to your fellow riders.
Please visit our websites as they are changing weekly and check us out on FaceBook. The breakfast tickets and raffle tickets can be purchased by any BOD member and will soon be available on Click n Pledge. You can also contact out Secretary Gale Varraso (SemmsfGale@aol.com) for ticket and raffle sales.
Again, thank you for your support last year and your continued support this year. We have more changes for this year’s event.
We have made additions to the BOD. We have Rick “Woodster” Wood as the Vice President, Steve Moura as the Director of Activities and Samantha Wood as the Director of PR.
