Tampa, FL -- A Plant City man involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Friday faced a judge today.
Troopers say Rodolfo Bautista-Perez pulled out of a parking lot and drove directly into the path of a biker. They say 24-year-old Jake Delvalle couldn't avoid slamming into the back of Perez' car. He was thrown from his bike and then run over by another vehicle.
That driver stopped but investigators say Perez kept going.
Perez is charged with leaving the scene of a deadly accident and operating a vehicle without a driver's license causing death.
The judge set bail at $200,000.
