Subject: Re: WV Senate Update
Celeste
You do amazing work, so thanks for sending in so many updates. And the WV Senate list is now one of the most complete we have. Only Virginia and California are in the same league when it comes to knowing who's on our side and who isn't. Hats off to you (and at this rate, helmets off to you, too).
WV now has 13 Code-Green senators. Only 4 more, and we've got a pro-repeal majority. And if we pick up only half of the 9 senators remaining in the Code-Yellow category, we're there. The only thing left to do now is get a majority in the Senate Transportation committee. Betcha didn't know we were doing so well in the Mountain State. I sure didn't!
Please take your time canvassing the House of Delegates, since you've got so many other irons in the fire. 95 out of 100 delegates is a lot of work, so break your effort into bite-sized chunks. I'll help with the workload, and I'll let you know who I contact as I work through the list (by name and district). I'll start with House Transportation Committee members, and then dig in on the rest of the chamber in numerical order.
Thanks so much ... more than you can imagine.
Douglas

Hey,
Have some updates. Of two, I'm 100% sure. The rest of this list voted for us in 2000 and/or co-sponsored subsequent bills.
Sen. Nohe SD 3 yea
Sen. Kessler SD 2 ney Acting Senate Prez
Sen. Boley SD 3 yea
Sen. Hall SD 4 yea (voted as a Delegate)
Sen. Plymale SD 5 ney
Sen. Tomblin-Acting Governor SD 7 yea
Sen. Fanning SD 6 yea
Sen. Prezioso SD 13 ney
Sen. Snyder SD 16 yea
This list should tighten up the Senate list.
Will get with you once I scan the Delegates.
