Wellington City Council abandons plans to force motorcyclists to park for parking

I thought you'd be interested in the followup story to the one you ran back in January regarding New Zealand's Wellington City Council's attempts to force us to pay for parking:

We had our day in City Hall today after they released a report which asked Council to consider forcing us to pay to park.
I've attached my speech today. Quote from it what you like. Suffice to say we won. Council have decided to table the report indefinitely with no conditions, meaning essentially that they don't want to even go near it.
