Strike Force Raptor officers have charged an alleged Outlaw Motorcycle Gang associate following investigations into an incident at a hotel in Parramatta in January 2011.
About 7.15pm yesterday (11 March), a 23-year-old man was arrested at premises in Harris Park.
The man was taken to Parramatta Police Station, where he was charged with malicious wounding and affray. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on April 27 2011.
The charges relate to investigations conducted by police into an alleged assault by a group of males at a hotel on George Street, Parramatta, on 13 January 2011.
It is alleged that during the incident, a 29-year-old man was struck with a bar stool and knocked unconscious. As a result, the man allegedly suffered a lacerated scalp, other lacerations, bruising, a chipped tooth and concussion.
Police had previously arrested two other males, both aged 22, in relation to the incident. Both men were charged with malicious wounding and affray, and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court on 16 March 2011.
Police allege all three men were members of the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang at the time of the incident.
