Look familiar????

Look familiar????
Anyone who finds links to press releases like this regarding cops conducting "Motorcycle Safety Operations" anywhere in California, please send them to me. "Safety Operations" in my mind is synonymous with CHECKPOINTS and as far as I am concerned they are illegal. Whether or not they pull over and cite cages during this operation as well, they are obtaining grant money to specifically pull over motorcycles... Thoughts?
If you get caught in one of these checkpoints, 1) video tape everything 2) respectfully inform the cop that what they are doing is illegal in the state of California and 3) recite the following Vehicle code number for the record and their edification. 4) Go to court and fight it... take no plea. We need the courts to rule on this issue.
We need any and every announcement if we decide to go for an injunction and or modify the law to include a definition of what constitutes a motorcycle only checkpoint and or include motorcycle safety operations programs. Or... decide to file a class action lawsuit for those riders who were ticketed during these checkpoints..er..safety operations..
