OFF THE WIRE
Dear SB177 Supporters,
Once again, it's time to kick up the heat. Senator Horsford has held our helmet choice bill hostage for 13 days. Time is running out. Don't let him get away with it. DEMAND that SB177 be put on the schedule at his Senate Finance Committee AT ONCE. At this point, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by getting in his grill !! The way those cops get into ours when they're having a bad day and decide to inspect our helmet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yuMenTgDh4
This is ridiculous. Ours' is the only bill that WILL stimulate our economy WITHOUT costing the State of Nevada. Any, so-called, "Public Burden" is theory-based on lies and pure speculation by bureaucrats that are paid by our tax dollars!
We don't need cops to violate our rights by detaining us to inspect our helmets. And besides, I've been to enough helmet court cases to know that cops wouldn't recognize a legal helmet if it one bit them in the butt. I love it when they say things like, "It's not DOT-approved." DOT doesn't approve jack squat. That's a fact!
As soon as I find out when the drop dead deadline is for this bill to get out of the finance committee, if we do not have sufficient votes to make it pass, I'll be taking another 550 mile ride to Carson City. These boys and girls will have to see this soon-to-be grandma and Marine Corps Veteran, face-to-face to explain why they disrespected the will of the People of Nevada! I have a long memory and will sabotage every single town-hall meeting possible at any future campaign speech they plan to give to publicly ask:
"WHY DID YOU IGNORE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE OF NEVADA? OUR ECONOMY COULD HAVE BEEN HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BETTER TODAY, IF YOU HAD JUST VOTED YES - OR BROUGHT THE BILL UP FOR A VOTE!"
Now that the weather is warmer up north, I hope some of you from So. Nevada will join me for this ride. There is a motel 6 about a mile from the capitol that seems to always have rooms available. And with our economy in the tank, I have no beef with sharing a room! The empty motel rooms would fill up instantly, if "those people" would pass SB177!
