Police said Monday that they discovered a meth lab in a house tied to the Detroit Highwaymen, a biker gang that recently moved into the Tri-State area. The narcotics raid ended with a man and his wife in jail.
CROSBY TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Police arrested a husband and wife accused of making methamphetamine at their Crosby Township home.
Officers raided the home Monday in the 10800 block of state Route 128, and they said they found drugs and items used to make drugs.
Police said 47-year-old Thomas Young had 2 grams of meth when officers arrived, and investigators said they found liquid believed to be methamphetamine and chemicals and equipment used to make the drug.
Those items have been turned over to the Hamilton County coroner's lab for more analysis.
Young was charged with possession of chemicals, manufacturing a controlled substance and drug possession. He also had outstanding warrants for drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers also charged 42-year-old Morri Young with permitting drug abuse and child endangering.
Both remain in police custody at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
