OFF THE WIRE
Zachary Wear’s His Message to the Boston City Council as the Fight Against Boston’s E.P.A. Motorcycle Exhaust Ordinance Continues

(Quincy, MA---July 4, 2010) 11 Year old future Motorcyclist Zachary wears his t-shirt in order to send a message to the Boston City Council with respect to their anti-motorcycling statute that fines motorcyclists $300 if their motorcycle’s exhaust system does not have a “readily visible” Environmental Protection Agency Stamp on it’s exhaust system while riding or even parked within Boston’s city limits. Zachary is the grandson of Motorcyclists’ Post Columnist Bill Gannon.

The T-shirts boldly bears the “Don’t Tread on Me” motif designed by Colonel Christopher Gadsden as our nation’ first protest flag. The motif is surrounded by words that exclaim, “I Refuse to Allow The Boston City Council to Build My Motorcycle” on the front of the shirt.

These T-shirts, developed by 81 Lowell Embroidery, Inc., are being sold by Massachusetts Bikers Of Lesser Tolerance for a $15.00 donation plus $4.95 for shipping & handling costs ($1.00 more for sizes 2XL through 4XL). A free sticker also bearing this design will be sent with each T-shirt. Shirts are available in Defiant Black or Rebellious Gray.

All funds raised from sales of these T-shirts go directly towards the legal battle to overturn Boston’s Repugnant ordinance. Thus far not one ticket has been written because of the City of Boston’s fear of this ongoing legal action. We must defeat this ordinance in Boston and stop this type of legislation from spreading across the nation.

Wear the T-shirt that sends a message to Boston’s motorcycling foes, and to all enemies of motorcycling throughout this nation, that we WILL fight back!!! All riders are urged to support Massachusetts B.O.L.T. and help defeat Boston’s repugnant ordinance by ordering these T-shirts and sending you donations to: Massachusetts B.O.L.T./ Justice Riders, P O Box 496, Medford, MA. 02155.
