AUSTRALIA - Police make arrests at drug lab in Orchard Hills

Penrith police have arrested a number of people after locating a clandestine drug laboratory at a property in Orchard Hills.
Detectives from Penrith Police had been conducting a long term drug investigation in the area when they executed two search warrants at Lansdowne Street, Orchard Hills and Jean Street, Kingswood.
NSW Police’s Strike Force Raptor, set up to investigate drug manufacturing syndicates and outlaw motorcycle gxxgs, were involved in the operation.
At Lansdowne Rd, Orchard Hills, a man, 37, was arrested and charged with the ongoing supply of prohibited drugs, supplying a prohibited drug and knowingly taking part in the manufacture of a large commercial quantity. Police allege he is a member of the Rebels Motorcycle Gxxg.
A woman, 34, was also arrested at Lansdowne St and charged with supplying prohibited drugs.
Witnesses state that a four-year-old was located at the site by police.
At Jean St, Kingswood, a man, 27, and a woman, 29, were arrested. The woman was charged with knowingly take part in the supply of prohibited drug and the man was charged with on going supply of prohibited drug, and supplying prohibited drugs. He was refused bail.
Penrith Crime Manager Detective Inspector Grant Healey has commended the officers involved in this operation.
“This has been an outstanding effort by investigators attached to the Penrith Local Area Command,” said Detective Inspector Healy.
“This will put a significant dent in the local drug supply market in the Penrith area.
