AUSTRALIA - Gold Coast bikie fined nearly $1,000

A member of an outlaw motorcycle gxxg has been fined almost $1,000 for traffic offences.

Bandidos member John Fahey pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered and uninsured car without a licence in February.

The Southport Magistrates Court heard Fahey has a history of unlicensed driving offences.

He has been ordered to pay a total of $920.

Outside the court, Fahey's lawyer Jodi Allen said her client was embarrassed.

"He's realised he's made a mistake and he is endeavouring to make contact with Queensland Transport and ensure that he is fully licensed," he said.
"He is embarrassed about coming to court for an unlicensed driving offence and it is certainly something where he was the holder of a bike licence, but not the holder of a motor vehicle licence at the time."
