in today’s wars, affecting more than 59,000 troops. While VA provides
excellent resources for veterans who suffer from hearing loss, the
injury can still impact personal relationships. DAV’s Barry Jesinoski

Minnesota DAV is proud to announce the 6th Annual Old Glory Run taking
place on May 18, 2013. Launched by Chris and Pam Karls in 2007, the
event has become an important way for the community to rally around local veterans. Thanks to the run, State DAV Commander Bob Erickson says that “many area veterans [are] enjoying a better quality of life.” |

started as a request to clothe one amputee has grown into a nonprofit
comprised of 950 volunteer seamstresses who create or adapt clothing to
meet the needs of wounded veterans. See how a well-deserved grant from
