Hi everybody:
I
have enclosed three petitions and one off-road membership application.
The three petitions are for Tim Donnelly’s AB 64 bill, Senator Jean
Fuller’s bill that will delay implementation of the added passenger
seats to Side X Sides, and Senator Mimi Walters bill that will exempt
all Side X Sides built before 2014 from Paul Cook’s AB 1595. All of
these bills are a means of fighting back against AB 1595 that severely
attacks the safety and freedom of off-roaders. Rather than ask for a
huge letter writing campaign, Jim Lombardo and the authors of these
bills are asking that we get these petitions filled up as they will do
more good right now.
We really
need each and every one of you to get at least one of each petitions
filled out by as many people as you can. When completed please send
them to me via fax or email. Once I receive them, I will scan them and
put them in .pdf format and get them to Jim Lombardo. OR fax them

Now here is
the kicker, Jean Fuller’s and Mimi Walters’ bills are being heard on
April 2, 2013! That gives us ONE WEEK to get this done! Tim Donnelly’s
bill will be heard on April 22, 2013 so we have a little breathing
room, but the other two must be back to me by next Friday, March 29th. I can still get more to Jim actually until the 31st, but please, do this right NOW!
Finally, I
am enclosing an ABATE off-road membership application. I need everyone
to sign up at least one member to the off-road. All new members and
current members will be automatically entered into both the off-road and
on-road divisions of ABATE and have all the same rights and privileges
of both, but we need to know that the off-road division is a worthwhile
and viable venture.
Please in the next week take care of both of these immediate necessities.
