New Zealand - Hell's Angels 50th - Led Zep, cops and Mr Whippy

OFF THE WIRE
Hell's Angels Auckland headquarters sent a courtesy letter about the 50th to their neighbours.
The Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club is celebrating 50 years in New Zealand tonight, with a party at their headquarters in Auckland.
The police weren't invited but they're outside anyway, with road spikes and all.
Alexandra Holland was getting married today, but outside her house other celebrations were getting underway.
Last week she received a courtesy letter from the Hell’s Angels, saying "should our celebrations exceed your extended tolerance feel free to contact Doug or Clyde”.
“I just rang to say thanks so much for your little letter,” says Ms Holland. “I am getting married on the same day so if my intolerance doesn't meet with you, I’ll be leaving my three your old with you permanently!”
New Zealand was the first country to have a chapter of the Hell’s Angels outside of the United States.
According to the FBI, some members are involved in violence, drug dealing and extortion.
We tried ringing Doug or Clyde to see what they have planned for their 50th. It didn’t work.
The gang's headquarters is on Brentwood Road in upmarket Mount Eden. The police blocked both ends of the street and a police photographer took photos of everyone they
let through the cordon. But they insisted it was just a routine traffic check.
They wouldn't confirm it had "anything" to do with the Hell's Angels party tonight.
