An alleged member of an outlaw motorcycle gang has been charged in relation to a road rage incident in Sydney's west yesterday that left another man in hospital.
The alleged Bandidos associate was a passenger in a car travelling through Seven Hills around 10.00am (AEST) when police say another driver inadvertently beeped his horn. It is alleged the 28-year-old got out of his car and began kicking the other car and punching the 40-year-old driver in the head.
The younger man got back into his car, which then drove away.
But it is alleged the car returned only minutes later, at which point both the 28 year-old and the driver again attacked the 40-year-old.
The injured man was taken to Blacktown Hospital with extensive bruising to his face, neck, back and torso.
Witnesses described the car of the alleged attackers and it was later picked up on the Prospect Highway.
Police arrested the 28-year-old, who was taken to Blacktown police station and charged with common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, breach of bail, and a string of other offences.
He has been refused bail to face Parramatta Local Court today.
Police are trying to find out the identity of the second man who accompanied the alleged bikie.
