Louisiana - Jury selection begins in gang-related shooting

PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (WAFB) - 9 jurors were selected Tuesday in the trial of four motorcycle gang members accused of attempted murder and battery.
Questioning will resume 8:30 am Wednesday morning in Judge Ralph Tureau's courtroom as both defense and prosecution attorneys choose the remaining jurors.
Joe Flores, Jose Flores, Chester Hunnicutt and Derrick Johnson were arrested almost a year ago after a shooting at Fred's Bar, which is near the Prairieville-Port Vincent area.
The incident happened in February 2010.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported the men got into an argument with former gang member Steven Hoff, 31.
Investigators said Hoff was shot several times by Joe Flores, the gang's president.
The four men are also charged with badly beating Hoff's friend, Brian McDonald, at the bar during the scuffle.
