Some commentary... last time I checked there is no helmet law in PA... and who gives a fuck if they were riding "two abreast"... why are both of these comments even part of the story... did this biker "get what he deserved" on some level... again... fuck mainstream media.

PITTSBURGH --
One man is dead and another is in critical condition after they crashed their motorcycles during an early-morning ride in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood.

Channel 4 Action News reporter Amber Nicotra reported that the victims were leading a group of four riders when the crash happened in the 8600 block of Frankstown Road at about 1 a.m.

"I went to look out my window and I could see a line of flames -- just from the middle of the intersection, up about 200, 300 feet -- and a big ball of fire," witness Scott Perry said.

Douglass Holloway, 46, of Turtle Creek, was killed in the crash. Friends said he worked as a mechanic and was a member of the Brothers of the Hammer motorcycle club. His family told Channel 4 Action News that he did not wear a helmet.

"He was a good man. He don't deserve to go out this way," said Holloway's tearful nephew, Kirk. "Just got a 1-year-old baby girl, and he got three sons."

"Doug was one of those type of men that looked out for the younger guys who didn't know the road, so it's a sad, sad day for this club. Sad day. We're going to miss him so much," club member Marcy Wade said.

The second biker, a 49-year-old man from McKeesRocks, was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian in critical condition. That person has not been publicly identified.

According to police reports, four motorcycles were travelling on Frankstown Avenue, riding two abreast.
