Londonderry man arrested in shooting Police say bystander shot during fight between three motorcycle gangs

A Londonderry man was arrested early yesterday morning for the shooting of an 18-year-old bystander during a fight between members of three different motorcycle clubs in Manchester, police said.
Police arrested Kristofer Haken, 31, of 3 Oak Drive for the shooting of Jared Pellerin of Manchester, a high school student. Pellerin was picking up some food with friends at Luigi's Pizza Bar & Grille on Valley Street on Friday, police said, when a fight between the motorcycle clubs spilled out into the parking lot where he was waiting. He was shot in his left arm, police said.
Pellerin was brought to Elliot Hospital in Manchester before being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
According to police, the fight involved three motorcycle clubs: the Outlaws, Hells Angels and Milford and Co. According to a press release written by Detective Sgt. Carlo Capano, Haken is believed to be a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.
The fight broke out inside Luigi's, police said, before the group moved into the back parking lot. That's when the gunfire began, police said. During their investigation, Manchester police said they were able to identify everybody who was involved in the fight — and more specifically, who fired the round that hit Pellerin. At 1 a.m. yesterday they contacted Londonderry police to help them find Haken.
Police arrested Haken on an unrelated Manchester police warrant for simple assault from March 23. Once in police custody, he was also charged with first-degree assault for shooting Pellerin, and felony reckless conduct for firing a 20-gauge shotgun in the direction of other bystanders, police said.
Police said they expected to make more arrests. Anyone with information should contact the Manchester police at 668-8711 and ask to speak to the Detective Unit, or call the Manchester Police Crime Line at 624-4040.
