The Superior Court's Order (Preemptory Writ of Mandate) ordering the Governor, the State Attorney General, and the State to not enforce (Sanctuary State) SB 54's mandates (Government Code Section 7284.6) against the City of Huntington Beach was signed today!!!
Huge legal victory for Huntington Beach - and as a Constitutional violation, a victory for other Charter Cities as well. I am proud of this legal win - if we do not assert/defend our City's CONSTITUTIONAL rights, they will be taken away by the State! Thank you Mayor and City Council for allowing Huntington Beach to take this legal action!
