Need to post this again. If your club is organizing an event and your target venue pushes back because of law enforcement pressure, remind them that it is illegal for law enforcement to make such demands.
Currently looking into a situation in SoCal where an bar owner requires a permit from the county sheriff to have an event (serving liquor) in another part of the private property, external to the bar, on the outside, where the sheriff is threatening to deny the permit if the owner serves motorcycle club members.
