The following articles were both posted on November 16, 2012.

via The Denver Post: A former Greeley police officer has been charged with felony theft for allegedly falsifying his time sheets.
Shaun Kelly, who was with the department for five years, has been charged with a class four felony, theft over $1,000, according to a Greeley Police Department media release.
In addition to the criminal investigation, an “administrative investigation” by the department is underway.
Kelly has a summons to appear in Weld District Court, police said.

via TheRepublic.com: A former Eastpointe detective is charged in the theft and exchanging of tires, slot machines, watches and other items from an Eastpointe police forfeiture shed for drugs and money.
The Macomb County prosecutor’s office says the 41-year-old man is charged Friday with misconduct in office and embezzlement.
Authorities say the stolen items were given to a former confidential informant to sell.
Acting Eastpointe Police Chief Scott Bourgeois says an internal investigation immediately was launched when it was noticed that some items were missing.
The detective resigned during the investigation into the thefts. He had spent 14 years with the police department, north of Detroit.
He is to be arraigned in 38th District Court. It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney.
