2010 ABATE OF FLORIDA ELECTIONS

At the completion of the monthly meeting of the Independence Chapter of ABATE of Florida held May 25, 2010 in Melbourne Florida a election was held to determine who the (2) two delegates to the State of Florida meeting would vote for.
Though the official results have not been released yet it appears that Frankie Kennedy will beat Doc Reichenbach and Frenchie Moreland will get the nod for VP. As will Dan Daniels for Sgt. of Arms.
Other positions are unopposed.
The way that this works is current chapter members that are present vote by writing their membership number and who they want for office on a prepared form.
The votes are then tallied and the delegates are instructed who they are to vote for at the state meeting.
The next state meeting is scheduled for June 12th at the Gulf Coast Chapter in Pensacola.
I have asked for and am expecting official results after the board meets today.
This is a very positive thing for ABATE of Florida and all motorcyclist in the state.
