More about Carlos:

Marine Veteran/Lawrence Detective takes on 7,000 miles on Harley

The Hoka Hey Challenge is a motorcycle ride covering over 7,000 miles and is in support of Veterans and Veterans’ Programs. I am a Marine Veteran of the Gulf War and Commandant of the Marine Corps League Detachment #1302 that also supports Veterans and Veterans’ Programs. I am sure you can understand what this Challenge means to me.

As you can imagine, 7,000 miles in 2 weeks on a motorcycle is quite a feat in itself. In exchange for your donation, I am offering a spot on my motorcycle for your company logo. This will be televised and there will be great exposure for your company if you choose to sponsor me. A portion of all proceeds collected are going to support Veterans & Veteran’s Programs across the country.

My reasons for taking this challenge are many. Seven Thousand plus miles would scare many from even thinking of taking the challenge. I want to reflect on my life and the goals that I have achieved, not for bragging rights but for the pride and hard work that I have put forth for the experiences that I have. This hard work credo is being passed on to my 16-year-old daughter that I am raising alone. She sees the pride on a daily basis along with the life experiences that needs to be passed on to the next generation. Taking a challenge and doing something outside of the cyber world of internet, X-Box and other devicesthat have kept everyone indoors. America is outdoors and all around us to experience ride and see what a great Nation that we live in.

Thank you for your consideration in sponsoring me. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully we can enjoy and endure the experiencing of a lifetime. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Carlos is proud to be sponsored by numerous businesses across New England and across the country such as, Seacoast Harley-Davidson, Marine Corps League Detachment #1302, Coady’s Towing, Lawrence Police Relief Association, BJ’s Specialties-Motorcycle Air Horns from Texas, Bentley's Saloon and an anonymous Dental Office in Oceanside California along with many other individuals.

Detective Vieira is proud to represent the Officers and Veterans of the City of Lawrence. Police Chief Romero is supporting one of his own in taking part of this Challenge.
Please help Carlos help our Veterans! Carlos is still in need of $280.00 in sponsors/donations to reach his goal.

There are 10 days and a wake up before the start of the Challenge. Carlos is still in need of donations and sponsors.
