Sturgis rally magazine to go nationwide

The official Sturgis Motorcycle Rally magazine will go nationwide for the first time in 600 stores this year.

The magazine will include 132 pages promoting the rally, Sturgis and South Dakota, according to KOTA-TV. The expanded circulation meets a city council goal to provide rally information across the country.

"It is our hope that people's discretionary income is such that they will consider coming to the rally," Sturgis mayor Maury LaRue says. "In terms of all kinds of vacations, this is probably one of the cheaper events that they may attend."
