A police Strike Force has been investigating the supply of illegal drugs in the Tamworth area.
Three men including a member of the Commancheros bikie gang are in custody after police intercepted a drug deal in Cessnock.
The men were arrested in the carpark of a fast food restaurant on Friday, with police allegedly finding an amount of methylamphetamine and cash.
Police also searched a home east of Tamworth and another on the Central Coast allegedly seizing more drugs, cash and a firearm.
Senior Constable Chris Nash says a Strike Force has been investigating the supply of illegal drugs in the Tamworth area for some time.
"We'll actually allege the three man left Tamworth, they travelled to Cessnock where they met another man to purchase prohibited drugs in the car park of a fast food restaurant," he said.
"Now, we did another search warrant of a man who we'll allege is a senior member of the Commancheros outlawed motorcycle gang.
"He's a 46-year-old man and we'll allege we found some more methylamphetamines at his house in Gorokan and also some more cash."
The men aged 23, 24 and 46 were charged with a range of offences and were refused bail at the weekend to face Cessnock Local Court on Wednesday.
