BIKIES are believed to be behind the stabbing of a man at Carrara on the Gold Coast yesterday in a dispute over drug money.
Six men were having a party in an Emerald Lakes unit on The Boulevard about 12.40am when it was gatecrashed by three other men.
A fight broke out between four of the men and a 33-year-old was left with several stab wounds to his lower torso and arms.
His friends took him to Robina Hospital but his injuries were said to be non life-threatening.
Sources allege the stabbing involved outlaw motorcycle club members, but was not club ordered.
It is believed a drug debt was behind the attack and police confirmed drugs were found at the scene.
Acting Detective Superintendent Brian Swan said the victim knew his attacker.
"We arrested several males at the scene after a knife, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found at the unit," said Supt Swan.
"The victim may also face drugs charges himself," he said.
