April 6, 2010 BOSTON MA. In the wake of Boston's enacting a noise ordinance last year and with the onset of another riding season upon us, Mike Sienkewicz, General Manager of Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson Everett, MA. has informed the Justice Riders of Massachusetts today that effective April 22, 2010, the dealership will sponsor its own 'weekly' bike nights dubbing them "Throttle Thursdays".

In the attempt to keep motorcyclists safe from unfair ticketing for exhausts that are deemed "street legal" by the Commonwealth's statute, but illegal and a $300 ticketable offense by the City of Boston,"biker bucks" will be spent in a more biker friendly community.

"We can't thank Boston Harley for stepping up to the plate and offering riders a bike night at the local dealership; it makes perfect sense", said Betsy E Lister treasurer of the Massachusetts Riders for Justice who quickly established a group to fight the ordinance last year. "Motorcyclists are always welcome at dealerships; and seeing as they'll be open those evenings, it also offers up more purchasing options for riders as well."

"We look forward to working with the dealership to notify all motorcyclists about the change, and hope riders will embrace the change in venue", said Paul Cote, one of the original defendants to the lawsuit against the City of Boston. We whole heartedly support this venture, and will be there to assist!" he added.

"It's nice to know that "biker bucks" will be spent somewhere other than Boston! It's great we've got another option." said Bill Gannon..

"What's also good about it is that riders won't have to deal with expressway traffic getting in and out of Boston, too!" commented Larry Cahill also one of the defendants to the lawsuit.

"It's nice to know that people took notice of our plight and offered up another option!" co-defendant Mike Longtin added.

Vince Silvia stated, "It's a win-win situation, finally!"

Bike nights will be held each Thursday from 5PM - 9PM until further notice, and will consist of food, contests, music, entertainment, and more! The dealership will remain open through to 9PM on Thursday evenings so that riders will be able to make purchases as well as enjoy the festivities.

Please note that the event will not be held if there's inclement weather. Please be sure to check the dealership website www.bostonharley.com, or their Facebook page for cancellations due to rain.

In the wake of Boston's noise ordinance, and riders possibly subject to persecution by the City, this is indeed wonderful news and we invite all riders and groups to inform their members, and any riders they know!

Let's make this a super successful event, and show Boston we'll take our money elsewhere, where we're welcome! Boston Harley, here we come!

ALL RIDERS WELCOME!
