Ducati of Santa Barbara had some of its hottest motorcycles on display; there was also live music, and coffee deals for those arriving on motorcycles or bicycles.
Even with those sweet, sweet bikes, The most exciting thing about the event was the Wreckless Thunder coffee itself. Many were privileged to receive made to order one-cup drips outside on the patio, perfect on this beautiful sunny day.
The event lasted from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., but the coffee is still abundant and is highly recommended, whether you buy it or take it for home brew. The Wreckless Thunder coffee is a medium to medium-dark roast sporting a combination of bright notes and some pleasantly astringent notes with a strong finish of tobacco and spice. A very fine coffee indeed. According to staff, Java Jones roasts the blend itself in a San Diego facility, and was practically fresh off the roaster, being only two days old.
