I used to file FOIA requests, but all I would receive back from the government were papers with my name and last known address on them and all else was black magic marker-ed out…ten pages of black magic marker lines…and a nice letter came with it saying “we have completed your FOIA request for information.” That’s when I was a PRISONER!
Now, according to analysis by the Associated Press, the same type of response is happening to over 700,000 citizens who, lacking trust for this government, have sent in massive FOIA requests for information the government has on them or an issue they are concerned with and they get railroaded…By the most transparent government in history(?!)…
