My son Jacob little has been charged under the new VLAD laws (anti bikie laws) he is 22 years old and has been put in segregation while on remand. This is a very disturbing situation for many families that I have spoken to whom love their children (not the wrong things they may do) but who they are.

The inhumanity of isolation and segregation which will inevitably cause mental health issues is of great concern to me and the community. This has gone far beyond CMG to affect family’s futures and the mental stability of these young men and any hope for their futures.

What plans does the Campbell Newman government have for REHABILITATION ?????

As a supposedly humane society these issues need to be addressed and LAWS changed for greater good of our whole society.

My son is looking at 15-25 years in prison and he is only one of many. For offences that others are doing community service for.

While there i will have no contact visits, ( i cant hug my son) 1 six minute call per day, no visits from anyone esle other than family members, which i am the only one. No tv, no stimulation with only a small yard to exercise in, their food is fed through a slot in the door and the list goes on.

I am heart broken, I’m scared, disillusioned with the whole system which is using a form of torture in the correctional centres.

I am pleading with like-minded people who believe in fairness and justice in Australia to please sign this petition and get this sorted.

A mothers LOVE is more powerful than any government
